The Roolez:
1) Submit as many times as you wish
2) Each submision costs $5 USF (free, unlimited for MEMBERS)
3) Corporate names and “Boaty McBoatface” are void.
4) Submit before midnight Feb 13/25 to be counted.
5) Voting starts Feb 14/25.. concludes March 9th 2025
6) Help With Outreach (optional).. Download, print, & distribute This HandBill (PDF download.. if you prefer a more secure Google Doc.. it’s HERE) that promotes This Contest.
7) PRIZES are currently being solicited.. but some people will win CASH based on Submissions Fees (less platform and processing fees). Two boats = two potential winners who SUBMITTED the names and two potential winners who VOTED for the names.
Notes:
1- I am working to configure a mini broadcast event to take place in 2025 announcing the end of the submission period. This will be a hybrid event hosted at one selected venue and broadcast thru the web.
2- I am also working to configure a super cool broadcast event built around the Naming Ceremony that will take place concurrently with the release of the video EP “Bitter Springs” that focusses on power differentials and individual autonomy. Select submitters will be invited (and paid) to attend the CLOSED SET production and hybrid launch event.
