As a seasoned print publisher, I am launching two premium~ but low cost~ web portals for information and entertainment~ The Standard Exhibit and Savage Progress. Both have their own unique content appeal and will maintain unique visitor access.. but the magazine, taking on the name of The Standard Exhibit, will merge content pulled from both sites for quarterly FREE print and monthly digital collection.

Back Story
I launched The Standard Exhibit as a print monthly covering the arts and entertainment ‘scene’ in the Thompson- Okanagan valleys while I lived in Kelowna. It was exciting and I learned a LOT. In retrospect, I made many many blunders as a publisher but over the years, I honed my visual acuity and scrutiny leading to self- publishing my own graphically enhanced literary novel, The Death Of Love

Now, I am bringing TheSX back to life in order to promote artists and the arts from coast to coast as I work and make real my passion project of Ocean Cyclist. Any *residual* income from ad sales derived from the magazine will go to help grow Ocean Cyclist.

And Savage Progress?
I’ve long looked at it as a possible parallel to TheSX but with a heavier environmental appeal. The goal is to be low- cost access to information, tutorials, and educational points of interest pushing our society towards a more sustainable aspect. 

From a cost- concern standpoint, I am releasing one print overview magazine every three months.. with digital “update” deliveries to subscribers and QR code finders.. and YOUR ad shows up in the digi version~ laid out at 8.5x 11″ in nominal size so folks can.. should they decide to.. print it off on their home printer.. but your ad~ the example: you pay for a 1/2 page ad.. in the digizine it is still 1/2 page in size but the page is larger. And you don’t pay anything extra! 

 

Some Notes:
The First Pages option is for, as the title implies- the first 3~ 5 pages of the magazine. Technically, they will be numbered using Roman Numerals (i, ii, iii, iiii, v… ) as they are antecedent to the magazine block. You are able to choose from three to five pages, no less than three and no more than five.. and the listing is priced PER page. So, “add to cart” and then use the little “plus” sign to add the number of pages you are wanting to have. Once selected and paid, the availability will be turned off/ it will be listed as “Sold Out” and you will need to come back L8tr when we start working on the next issue.. or, as the saying goes- First Come, First Served.

An Advertorial is content YOU provide.. we massage.. and then plop the finished work in to the magazine layout. As above, so~ too~ here: the listing is Per Page, 2 page minimum; 4 page max. Add To Cart, then use the “plus” symbol to add up to your chosen page count (not to exceed four pages).
~ we take your words and transmogrify them in to our tone/ voice so it sounds as if we wrote it.. add in the photos.. and send you the layout to proof. Once you approve, it gets locked in. 

Payment Plan
The option to pay on installments exist, based on terms and conditions provided/ defined by the processing company~ Shopify. To start with, you need to use the SHOP Pay option and the purchase amount needs to be under $30,000.
