Automagical Blog Posting…

Better known as WEBHOOKS~ webhooks are methods of having scheduled events take place and do things without human intervention.. things like running timed activities (“chron” jobs) or.. If This, Then That kind of thing- like, if I post THIS on one site, it gets reposted elsewhere.. automatically!

From a technical standpoint, there are MILLONS of different actions that webhooks can account for and people with better minds than mine do the coding for those things. But, the company “IFTTT.com” has recognized certain (thousands) different and common activites and/ or websites. So, while I don’t know how to CODE a webhook.. I know how to set up an If This, Then That action and have my desired webhook.. activated!

By way of exact example- if a BLOG post originates at one of the PRIME websites.. (the “If This” part) then they show up at CHILD sites (the “Then That” part) ready to be published. Simple.. effective.. and a cool way of making sure that, irregardless of content interest, audience is provided with needed, necessary, and informative updates and entertainment keeping them registered and paying their $20 US/ 30 day cycle.
