The PHREAQ0UT Film Festival is a growing concern.. it’s an integral part of the Arts Extravaganza Art show and sale that I am organizing, “issue one” taking place Sept. 18th and 19th of this year!
Brief on The Event
Inspired by the Jerry Lewis Telethons of days gone by/ my youth.. I am hosting a 30 hour telethon leveraging the ZOOM webinar platform for maximized audience and interactivity. The ZOOM infrastructure allows for Main Stage screenings and Break Out room content delivery so, some general content offerings include (but aren’t necessarily limite to..):
- A Listening Party
- Musical Performances (live/ memorex)
- Poetic Presentations
- A Film Festival Screener
- AND MORE!
But~ I know the importance of PEOPLE watching the produced content.. so I am negotiating with different establishments in many different communities to have the PHREAQ0UT film submissions screened to venue patrons~ FREE!
And to get people psyched I’m launching a ZINE and MagaZINE.. two formats to get info in to as many hands as possible to maximize audience attendance and voting on your submissions!
The ZINE
Is a self- printed, stapled, folded and refolded monthly document that’ll be going out to hundreds of drop points- businesses that have agreed to put the Zine at their checkouts so that their customers can get the INFO I’m sending out!
The Magazine
Is a professionally printed “digest size” mag.. 120 pages, full colour.. lotsa fun and tons of space to share info! It’s being distributed across Canada for easy pick up!
