Ocean Cyclist is gearing up to start guerilla based productions

First, the equipment is pretty much all on- hand. I’m a stills photographer with nearly 30 years experience.. and through my “tenure” I’ve examined different aspects of video production .. purchasing tools that work for, both, still and video work. 

Second, a majority of the productions will be “from the hip” or “guerilla” meaning- no permits just hit it and quit it! We practice what we need in a studio environment then go out and DO the production.. 

All productions are environmentally and/ or cycling oriented for one or another impact feature. Some are “serialized” productions, such as “Ainna, After..” and some are one- off items. Some will be produced locally, some will need travel. I’ll be looking at local shooting first and, as funds (& interest) grows.. we’ll look at travel options.

Some Production Notes:

Ainna After
Is a Post Apocalyptic production that traces one female lead character (i.e.: “Ainna”) in her day to day activities in order to highlight/ spotlight food scarcity issues, product failure/ lack of longevity, isolation.. and more. Locations will be selected based on various thematic adherances and the general theme of the production will be somber and production will most likely consist of a lot of “voice over” segments .. so, script delivery will take place after filming and editing~ for the most part (but not exclusively).

Two Way Education
As a cyclist with 45+ years on the bar, I’ve had some great run ins and some.. not so great. The not so great has produced a plethora of necessary teaching points that I’d like to explore in detail.. in video format. I say Two Way in that BOTH cyclists and motorists need to learn and be aware of each other.
